About Me
I got my first taste of the coffee business back in the mid-’90s. If I’m honest, the coffee wasn’t great, and I couldn’t quite figure out what all the fuss was about.Somehow, I survived the dark roasts, Y2K, and the end of Seinfeld—and somewhere along the way, I fell in love with this strange brown liquid and the incredible industry that serves it up to the world every single day.Over the past 25 years, I’ve done a bit of everything: running my own independent café, developing products for a global coffee franchise, and working with some of Australia’s leading coffee roasters. From retail operations and training to marketing and product development, I’ve been lucky enough to see this industry from just about every angle.At the heart of it all has been the privilege of working alongside hundreds of café owners—sharing their challenges, celebrating their wins, and helping them build businesses that not only serve great coffee but also stand the test of time.
